Also, start checking out the local congregations; it will help to fellowship with other Believers!  You can ask them all the questions you'll have and be baptized in water and with the Holy Spirit of God.

There's so much to your new life in the Lord!  That's not to say it will be easy; no, sometimes it gets really hard. The difference is you will NEVER be alone again! It is written: "...the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance..." (John14:26); and,"If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and We will come unto him, and make our abode (home) with him." (John 14:23)
